Holland Lake Lodge is one of my favorite places in the world. The views from the point don't get much better and the relaxed vibe of the lodge immediately eases your mind. Your 2 day/1 might getaway will begin Thursday where upon arrival we'll do a short run to Holland Falls take some time to kayak and swim and finish with a Sunset Dinner. We'll rise with the sun on Friday for a spectacular run to Upper Holland, come back to a refreshing lake, some stretching and yoga and a delicious breakfast. 24 hours is all you need to take it all in, renew and refresh. You'll leave inspired by the people around you, and  more empowered then when you came. 

The focus for this retreat is Run & Relaxlation - Holland Lake offers a beautiful place to stay, wonderful meals, kayaks and paddle boards and a scenic run! 

Who is this retreat for? - Anyone women looking for a quick getaway with a little luxury, that loves the trails and wants to explore them with other like minded women. You should be able to run an easy 10:00 mile and an hour without stopping. 

Looking for more mindfulness or more hiking/running? -  check out the women's wellness weekend at the end of September. Sara Close will take you through 3 days of mental wellness and there will be hiking or running.

Thursday 

12-2pm    - Optional early arrival and lunch 

3pm-5pm - Arrive at the Lodge

5pm        - Gather and Retreat Introduction

5:30pm    - Run/Hike to Holland Falls - 3 miles 

6:30pm    - Short group stretch - Jump in the lake 

8pm        - Dinner 

9pm        - Bonfire and Bed 

Friday

6:15am      - Run to Upper Holland Lake (14 or option for 8 miles) 

10am         - Return & Breakfast 

10:30am    - Group Stretch and Mobility work -  Lake time 

(you can leave anytime after 11 but are free to stay until 3pm) 

12-1pm       - Check out of rooms 

12-2pm       - Option for Lunch - includes 1 lunch Thurs. or Fri. 

3pm           - Latest time to leave

As the founder of Key Retreats, I'm excited to share this experience as we bring together our shared love of running and adventure. My goal is bringing women together to be our best possible selves by empowering and lifting each other up and my hope is that you leave the retreat inspired and motivated for what is possible.

  Please know at KR you'll be met where you are with your running, provided support and advice to get you where you want to be, no matter what your skill level. Providing a positive and encouraging experience is an essential piece to of Key Retreats.

Emily has a passion to explore the wilderness. With 6 years of NOLS guiding experience, record holder of the Devils backbone 50 miler and an adventurous mountain biker, she has more than enough experience, energy and positive encouragement to help lead the group through the trails of Holland Lake. 

 She is a certified personal trainer, Pilates Intermediate Mat teacher, and holds a pre & postpartum specialization. You can find her @coachemconditioning
