Key Retreats Costa Brava, an adventure of a lifetime.
Your retreat begins by heading directly north from Barcelona to the shores of the Mediterranean Sea in Aigua Blava. Your villa sits right on the Cami de Ronda (the trail that we will run in sections throughout the retreat) , where you'll enjoy views of the sea over the negative edge pool. Your private path will take you right to the beach.
As the sun rises, your day will begin with a short runners yoga with Jodi. A late breakfast will be served and expect a running start time of around 9 or 10am. Your own private chef will provide regional dishes of paella, tapas and other local healthy meals throughout the week.
Your guided daily runs will cover various sections of the Cami de Ronda, a Coastal trail that runs through castles and small villages. The running is low key and because of the terrain it's a lot of hiking.
You'll enjoy a full day in Girona, one of the best towns in the area starting with a local guided run. Hiking is also an option. We will run between 4miles and 6 miles everyday with lots of stops for pictures and sightseeing and water. Expect 2-4 hours on your feet and on the longer days we'll stop for snacks (gelato is a favorite) and finish with lunch.
Each day will bring a different adventure, a new village, relaxation and exploration.

WHAT TO EXPECT
GUIDED TRAIL RUNS
& GOAL SETTING
The Cami de Ronda is a coastal and inland trail that we will cover in sections of 4 miles up to about 8 miles. Local guides will lead us on a few of the days and we'll explore the magical places the region has to offer. Expect time on your feet of 2-4 hours.
Our own Yoga instructor, Jodi Petlin will guide us all week in taking care of our bodies, recovering and restoring to be ready to go again the next day.
Self Care is a continuous theme at Key Retreats. Reconnect with a guided session on goal setting and finding ways to win your inner battles with Courtney
MEALS w/ Private
We will drive the 40 minutes to Girona to run and explore this amazing walled city. It's a hub of professional cyclists with a strong running community and great coffee shops.
All Meals in Costa Brava with the exception of 1 dinner and 3-4 lunches will be prepared by your own personal chef and restaurant owner Roberto. His blend of Italian and Spanish food is outstanding!

One dinner at Restaurant
Running is very low key. We make a lot of stops for pics and snacks. A lot of the terrain is better to hike than run. If you have questions please reach out. AND there is always the option to Hike on your own with maps and directions.
Trail Runs - Most of the runs with the exception of Girona will be on trails. Some are wide and flat and some are single track and hilly.
